Hello, I ordered a pair of leaf springs for my 2002 Nissan Xterra and my mechanice says they are just about a 1/4 of an inch too wide for the u bolt. He told me I should bring them to a shop and have them bore a slightly larger hole in the u bolt bracket so that they can fit. Would you be able to perform this and install the leaf springs, and if so, can I please have an estimate of cost.

Thank-you for your help!

I am working on tri axle western star the right hand side frame broke right in font of the first axle suspension hanger. I have pulled back together and welded back up and am in the process of installing new insert from tail of truck to two feet past the break. When the frame broke the left frame rail bent noticeably to the left. If i repair the right hand side properly and was to send you the truck would you be able to get the frame straight from that point or is there something else that should be done prior to sending you the truck. I will leave in whatever condition will make the repair easiest.

I have an 05 4runner with an abundance of modifications including a trail gear leaf spring conversion (6inch lift) on the rear end. I broke one side and cracked all around the welds of the other side for the rear shackle mounts where each shackle is welded to the frame. Both are fixed for now but I worry about this happening again and would like it professionally reinforced. The 4runner sees a lot of technical offroading and is heavily abused. Please let me know if this is something your shop would be willing to help me out with. I can bring it in to discuss what I would like to have done any time this week.

Thanks in advance,
Steve
