Thanks to efforts by The British Columbia Trucking Association (BTCA) and their Task Force, our roads are safer! The BCTA finds and fixes problems in the National Safety Code Through the hard work of the BTCA, over 45,000 inactive NSC Safety Certificates were cancelled in 2012. The result: Many high-risk carriers were put out of business.
In addition, the Commercial Vehicle Safety and Enforcement (CVSE) implemented an action plan in 2013 to require a more comprehensive NSC application process. Read more

The Premium Carrier Program exists to “enhance road safety by recognizing and rewarding those carriers who show exceptional commitment to safety and to showcase their best practices as examples for other carriers” (BC MOT).
